Associate Instructor (TA) award - Madison Genslinger. She is the second consecutive student in the group to win after Varsha Kumari in 2024-2025.

Additionally, our students have secured other awards and opportunities. These include Carina Jacobson’s undergraduate summer research through SURF at NIST in DC, Varsha and Madison’s computational quantum materials summer school in Canada - and Madison’s NSF travel grant supporting her, as well as a travel award for Akhond from the department.
